2021 Springs Ensemble Theatre Motherhood and Fatherhood posters

Springs Ensemble Theatre's spring 2021 season is two plays about parenthood, debuting on Mother's Day and Father's Day. For the design, I was inspired by the daring typography Paula Scher used in her branding for The Public Theatre in New York, and I wanted to use handwritten lettering to mimic children's' handwriting. I wanted to veer away from gender norms of choosing pink and blue for the palette, so I instead utilized spring colors to reflect the timing.
