Personal Project: Mid-Century Christmas Illustration

I think showing personal projects in a portfolio is just as important as professional work. It shows the gamut of the designer's abilities when client work isn't always able to explore those skillsets.

Mid-century modern is one of my favorite design styles—for furniture, architecture, and graphic design. I love the rich color palettes, geometric lines, and playfulness. I created this scene last Christmas as a personal project and a way to develop my illustration skills.
